Ano Viejo – January 2024 LCA Release

Fabrica de Tabacos Raíces Cubanas is regarded as one of the best Honduran manufacturers ofcigars, rolling for brands such as Alec Bradley, Illusione, and Viaje. At IPCPR 2013, RaícesCubanas 1941 was debuted to be distributed by Alec Bradley, marking the first time RaícesCubanas had released a cigar bearing their own factory’s name. The cigar, featuring a dark brownHonduran wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, was renowned byconnoisseurs, but has now been out of production for a number of years. In 2021, Privada CigarClub was approached by Hugo Endemaño of Raíces Cubanas about reproducing the originalfamed 1941 blend. This rerelease, aged two years since rolling, delivers a medium-to-full-bodiedexperience with flavors ranging from earthy to sweet, including notes of pepper, cream, andcaramel. This month, LCA Plus offers an opportunity to experience a spectacular blend that many collectors feared had been lost to the ages.
