Dissident Soapbox Aged 4 Years
6 year aged! Smoke a little piece of history with this one. IT was made by now DEFUNCT Dissident Cigars based out of West Side Humidor in Wichita Kansas. These guys had style and grace, so its no wonder their original cigar releases were the Sh$t. This is a perfecto shaped cigar and members went nuts for it!
The Dissident Soapbox is a Nicaraguan puro that was released alongside the BLOC in 2013. A Jalapa wrapper is over an Estelo binder, with Condega, Esteli and Jalapa tobaccos in the filler. This decidedly Nicaraguan blend sums up into a medium to full strength cigar. The flavor profile shows its Nicaraguan tobacco roots. Up front with red pepper and cedar notes, followed by a caramel sweetness, and ending with a more cocoa and coffee note with an added creaminess.
Tasting Notes: Sour in a great way, artificial banana sweetness, creamy, leather and lemon pepper
Brian’s Notes: This cigar has been aged 6 years and is no longer in production. You can barely find these anymore, if at all. It is creamy, chocolately, sweet and spicy. What more could you as for in a good cigar? It goes great with a Pilsner beer, or any dark liquor (rum/whiskey/cognac…). Originally rolled by Alec Bradley, these things have been sitting around in a Kansas cigar warehouse, waiting to be shipped to your front door.
