The Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno is a refined, medium-bodied cigar that delivers a complex and elegant smoking experience. Originally crafted as a diplomatic gift for visiting dignitaries, it has since become a standout in Joya de Nicaragua’s portfolio.
Tasting Notes:
- Initial Draw: Expect a creamy and toasty smoke with subtle notes of vanilla, almonds, and cinnamon.
- First Third: Flavors of cream, cedar, lemon-citrus, and nut emerge, with the citrus notes becoming more prominent as you progress.
- Second Third: Earthy tones come to the forefront, accompanied by increased nut and cedar flavors, while the lemon-citrus notes mellow.
- Final Third: Cedar becomes dominant, with lingering notes of lemon-citrus, black pepper, and nut. The creamy notes fade, leaving a slightly soft and cool nub.
