Bellas Artes Maduro is yet another beautiful masterpiece added to the AJ Fernandez collection. This cigar was first introduced at the 2018 IPCPR show in Las Vegas and quickly hit the shelves soon after due to popular demand. The Bella Artes Maduro cigar is wrapped in a beautiful and dark oily Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan filler tobacco grown on Fernandez’s farms. This full-bodied cigar will give you notes of dark chocolate, espresso, earth, leather, and spice. It’s full-bodied and rich with notes of chocolate, espresso, and some sweet spice.

The first third is typical A J Fernandez. I get lots of spice and black pepper. There is a sweetness on the wrapper that when added to the spice creates a nice cinnamon flavour.
Once the black pepper dies down a dark chocolate creeps in and an oakiness on the retro.
The 2nd third drops the pepper and I’m left with dark chocolate and a cream. The smoke is extremely smooth.
The final third continues with a chocolate note but I’m getting a sweetness again. Its like a chocolate and raison candy bar.
