Having already had the Enclave habano a few days ago I was expecting this to be a spicy smoke. The opening doesn’t disappoint. Very spicy, lots of black pepper. A cayenne heat left in my throat. Behind the spice I detect an oak flavour.
10 minutes in and the flavours have changed. Black pepper dominates the finish but I’m getting toffee on the draw.
The 2nd third picks up in strength and the strength does overwhelm some of the flavours. I’m getting a chocolate note in addition to the pepper.
The final 3rd is very woody and earthy. The strength is right up there.
The burn was perfect. The draw was tight and I had to double puff the first 2 thirds.
I personally prefer the Habano Enclave
