Description
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano
Binder: Jalapa
Fillers: Esteli
Body: Fermenting tobacco, leather, barn.
Foot: Aged cedar room.
Cold Draw: Sweet canned peaches, red pepper, dried cedar
Tasting Notes: Right away we start out with a note that reminds me of a spicy honey. There are also hints of graham cracker, red pepper, sharp cedar, apricot, and sesame seed oil. The retrohale is spicy: black pepper with a hint of charcoal peatiness. As the first third ends, there is cedar, cream, red pepper, and apricot. The second third begins with notes of mocha, charred cedar, cream, red pepper, and apricot twang. Further in, I get a cinnamon finish that reminds me of fireballs! Overall, I get this unique cedar aging room flavor that is very satisfying. Apricot begins the final third, while black pepper, cedar, and cream are still present. I’m a huge fan of this cigar for those times when you must be wowed. Enjoy and do not forget to thank @ajfcigars on IG if you still spend time there.
Pairing Notes: Bourbon, apricot tea, Miller Lite to cool it down, Fireball to heat it up, after spicy foods, no tomato based foods, Riesen candy, caramel.
