Post-production aging has always been a specialty of ours here at Privada Cigar Club. After doing our first bourbon collaboration, we asked if we could have the barrels that had been used to create our exclusive bourbon to then age cigars in. The result was one of the most flavorful cigars we have ever smoked, and we have smoked a lot of cigars. The cigars in the Privada Barrel Aged program are aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 3 months. They are then balanced with two-way humidification for perfect smoking conditions. This is not an infused cigar, it is simply aged in oak barrels.
