Description
Tasting Notes: The body is tobacco-curing barn and cocoa butter. On the foot, sweet tea, more cocoa butter. The cold draw is ripe, summery peach, and salty minerals. In the first third, that creaminess of a nut butter, peppermint essential oil, cocoa butter, black pepper on the finish. Peach juice! Leaves a black pepper finish on this incredible smoke. Herb, thyme, floral…creamy, rich vanilla, and chocolate. Butterscotch, like a syrupy texture. Red mulch. Frankincense. Cedar. Instant hot chocolate mix. Second third starts to mellow a little bit. Florals…white florals… orange blossom or magnolia. Black pepper smoothed out and became white pepper. Rosewater. Almond butter. Chocolate like Hershey’s with almonds. Smooth, rich, creamy, tangy finish. Mint, lavender…florals are big in the second third. Coffee Candy. Lemongrass on the retrohale, a phantom flavor. The final third is green and vegetal. Lemon. Salt…umami, buttery. Cinnamon finish. Butterscotch turned into simple syrup. Some wood and floral are still there. A tingly mouthfeel. Dark roasted coffee beans and dried herbs.
Pairing Notes: Rye bourbon. Sarsaparilla soda. Root beer or root beer barrel candy. Bagel with cream cheese. Milk chocolate pretzels. Medium roast coffee. Chocolate-covered strawberries. Strawberry soda. Strawberry ice cream. Stout beer. Peanuts.

Whoever wrote the description must have a god-tier palate, I’m a mere mortal, but I was definitely playing in the same ballpark. It’s very rich, chocolate, coffee, minty feeling on the lips, some pepper and spice. A really great mouth feel that doesn’t dry you out. Very transitional which makes this a fun and interesting stick to take to the nub. Definitely one of the best sticks I’ve had in this price range. Well worth a buy.
