The Curivari Socrates Cigars pays homage to owner Andreas Throuvalas’s Greek roots.  Most Curivari blends are comprised of all Nicaraguan tobaccos, the Curivari Socrates is a step in a new direction for this company. This uses a dark and oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, delivering sweetness to this otherwise all Nicaraguan blend.  It contains notes of oak, cinnamon, earthiness, and leather.
