Eiroa CBT Maduro: capa, banda, tripa maduro. Translated to: wrapper, binder, filler maduro. That’s right, a cigar made from 100% Maduro leaves. Difficult to pull off but Christian Eiroa did it. Smooth and extremely rich with notes of charred, pepper, dark roast coffee, cocoa, and a savory finish. Full-bodied and complex and a true delight to smoke.

Fantastic smoke! Crisp white ash and razor sharp burn line, billowing plumes of smooth smoke roll off each puff. The retrohale surprised me – being a triple maduro – that it was extremely smooth, wonderful and not harsh on any level, rich with depth of character not often found. I did not notice much pepper, its complexity was savory and dark, it hit just the right rich tones. This cigar was excellent, paired with a Mud Slide it made for a rich, calming Friday night smoke session after a long week at work.

One of my favorite smokes. Extremely flavorful and puts out a metric “shit-ton” of smoke.
