Body: Fruit Roll Up, leather and chocolate with honey.
Foot: Chocolate and berries.
Cold Draw: Chocolate, milk, wood.
Tasting Notes: On the first third I get dried stone fruit like plum and apricot, chocolate all over, cream, sweet cedar, leather and berry tang on the tongue. There is also a slight charred wood. The second third is chocolate, faint dried italian herbs, sweet cedar, fruits and berries, cream, white pepper and a very distinct aging room cedar note in the retro. It’s also bready like a chocolate and fruit brioche. In the final third, I get golden raisins, chocolate, blueberries, white pepper, cream, cedar and a black pepper finish.
Pairing Notes: Cognac, dark rum, chocolate, chocolate covered blueberries, chocolate and apricot, raisins, Goobers.
