The first light is awe-inspiring! Huge waves of extra-dark chocolate and aged leather instantly wash over the palate. Immediately following, bold flavors of caramel, heavy cream, and dark-roasted coffee appear. The finish is long adding vanilla bean and dark brown sugar. Retrohale is very warm with a red pepper burn.

As it progresses, cocoa and leather come to the fore. Hints of black walnut and red oak. The finish continues to impress–very clean with hints of clove and spice.

Halfway, maple wood, white pepper, and cask-strength whiskey emerge. The finish brings waves of black licorice, toasted marshmallow, and sweet tea. The age of tobacco really starts to be tasted. It’s a mature, refined flavor that only comes from extra aging. So delicious that it’s hard to describe!
