The Winner’s Circle Crew presents to you Folds of Honor. This cigar is a special way to kick off our charitable line of cigars. Not only is the cigar an absolute must try but 25% of the profits are going to support Folds of Honor. One crew member’s spouse was once married to a Marine before he passed due to his service. Since then, she has been involved with Folds of Honor as a receipt for her kids but also as a speaker, telling her story over and over so that others can feel and hear the weight of sacrifice. Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to fallen and disabled military member’s families. Recently they have expanded that mission to include first responders’ families.
It began with Lt Col Dan Rooney’s flight home from his second tour of duty in Iraq. An F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, he became painfully aware of the realities families face when a loved one in uniform is fallen or disabled.
As his flight landed, the pilot announced they carried the remains of Corporal Brock Bucklin on board. Lt Col Rooney watched as Corporal Bucklin’s twin brother walked somberly alongside the flag-covered casket to meet his family on the tarmac. Among them was the deceased Corporal’s young son, Jacob.
Since that night, Lt Col Rooney has committed his life to rallying patriotic Americans and meeting sacrifice with hope through the Folds of Honor. Since 2007, they’ve provided life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military.
Please help us honor our fallen and disabled heros and enjoy this amazing microbatch cigar that promises the taste of freedom.
