The Hoyo La Amistad Gold by AJ Fernandez is a full-bodied revamp of the famous Hoyo de Monterrey brand. AJ Fernandez grew up near the Hoyo de Monterrey factory in Cuba and was excited when General Cigars chose him to blend this cigar. The cigar is a collaboration between the two companies, which is appropriate since “La Amistad” means friendship in Spanish. The cigar features an Ecuador Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos in the blend.
