Body: Fresh-cut cedar and molasses.
Foot: Molasses, cedar, and cocoa bean.
Cold Draw: Musty wood and soy sauce.
Tasting Notes: The cigar starts with a delicate yet complex flavor profile. Fresh-cut cedar and molasses dominate the body, while notes of orange zest, honey glaze, and pungent charcoal smoke provide a light but full sensation.
As the cigar progresses in the second third, the flavors begin to meld together, creating a unique experience. The orange zest evolves into a whipped cream-like texture with a hint of red pepper, complemented by charred woods and a subtle bouquet of flowers. The smoke has a slight bite to it, with powdery plumes of tangy smoke and a white pepper retrohale.
Finally, the sharpness of the smoke softens, allowing the floral notes to take center stage. Cinnamon joins the mix for a warm and satisfying finish, while the citrus zing from the beginning of the cigar remains present throughout. The draw is musty wood and soy sauce, providing a distinct contrast to the previous flavors.
Pairing Notes: Creamsicle, Canadian whiskey, peach iced tea, pineapple coconut flavored deserts like ice cream or cake, whipped cream and cherries, BBQ.
