Padilla Cigars is evoking literary icon Ernest Hemingway with a limited-edition cigar called For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s named after one of the author’s most famous works and is coming to market next month.
Made with a pigtail cap, For Whom the Bell Tolls consists of a dark broadleaf wrapper from the Connecticut River Valley, a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder and Nicaraguan filler from Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli. The cigars are made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez who grows the Nicaraguan tobacco as well.
