The Thanksgiving Day Parade Pack

(4 customer reviews)

$25.00

This Thanksgiving, indulge in our first Thanksgiving Day Parade Pack. This pack has been curated over the past nine months. There is a cigar for each third of your day. Breakfast and coffee. Lunch or pre-dinner and after Thanksgiving dinner or dessert.

The contents of this pack include:
1. Connecticut shade wrapper from Ecuador, Costa Rican binder, Costa Rican and Nicaraguan fillers.  Blended by Espinosa in Costa Rica. This marvel of a breakfast cigar is second to none and would cost $20 or more from other Costa Rican brands.

2. Habano wrapper from Nicaragua, Sumatran binder from Indonesia. Fillers from the Dominican Republic. Blended by Papo El Caballo, formerly of Davidoff Cigars, and now the master blender at Black Bird Cigar Co.

3. Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, Nicaraguan fillers. Blended by AJ Fernandez and grown on AJ’s beautiful Nicaraguan farms.

Let me say this, I love Thanksgiving. I do not like the origin of the holiday of course but my personal experience with Thanksgiving has been fun with friends, family, and great food. Culinary. Experiential. Anticipated. So it is an honor to have created a pack specific for this day. Enjoy Thanksgiving and keep Privada in mind. We love you!

I tried my first Parade Pack (along with the Good Day Pack) over Xmas holidays and loved every one of the cigars! Cw, uk

I bought 3 of these for me, my brother, and my dad. We started with the morning cigar around 11am in the garage with the turkey cooking in the roaster while we avoided the rain. 11/10, hands down the best claro wrapper I’ve ever smoked and that was the consensus. I would buy this pack again just for that cigar. Paired with some basic Decoy Pinot just to wet the palate. After dinner we set up the TV outside under the covered patio and lit up the habano while watching some admittedly mediocre football. 8/10 – my dad and I had burn/construction issues that have unfortunately plagued a bunch of Blackbird cigars I smoked and it was a bit linear. Could be that our palates were saturated with the food, but these were lacking something compared to the first cigar. Still, pleasant flavor overall and deceptive strength, as I got nicotine hiccups about 2/3 through on a full stomach. After several hours, we lit up the AJ maduro, which I paired with some Aberlour 16 year Speyside scotch (a favorite of mine for pairing with cigars I haven’t tasted yet). 10/10 it was a prototypical AJ stick full of earthy flavors, Nicaraguan black pepper, and dark roast coffee on the retro. We heard a car speeding through the neighborhood hit something so I took this one walking with my girlfriend about 2/3 in to investigate. It lost nothing and kept my attention throughout. Perfect close to a perfect day. My dad and I are going to buy another pack for a Saturday in the near future. If you hesitated to buy this for some reason, buy it while you can!! It’s a steal for $25.

I really enjoyed all three of these cigars! For me, the shade and the maduro tied for best with the habano running a close second. I plan to get one or two more of these packs.

I finally tried the morning cigar. Easily the best CT cigar I’ve had, I was blown away at how good it was. This cigar alone is worth trying the pack. It was complex, transitional, and perfectly constructed. I haven’t had the other two yet but would buy another pack just to get my hands on another one of these. Getting two more cigars with it is just a nice bonus.
