The Maduro blend is a full-bodied smoke. It is definitely a big jump up in strength from the Habano, and yet it is still a very smooth cigar. This stick sports a dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, foreshadowing the bold flavors that are sure to follow. It starts out as a very rich, nutty cigar, and later gives way to solid cocoa flavors, which are present through the remainder of the cigar. As the stick progresses, the smoker encounters flavors that include wood, spice, leather, and a long, buttery finish.
