The Warped Serie Gran Reserva 1988 is a Nicaraguan puro made entirely of tobaccos from Aganorsa’s farms and rolled at Tabsa in Nicaragua.  The cigar’s name is a commemoration of the 30th birthday of Kyle Gellis, the owner of Warped.  It is a full-bodied blend featuring notes of sweet cream, earthy spice, nuttines, and caramel.  A must-try for sure.

The Warped Serie Gran Reserva 1988 is #3 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2019.

Great draw, lots of smoke on the draw… 1st 3rd has plenty of earthiness w/ tons of spice and spiciness… Burn line is close to flawless and the ash looks like a stack of dimes… The retro is nutty, the retro is a must with this cigar… This cigar smokes cool to the touch… The 2nd 3rd has transitioned into subtle red chili pepper spice w/ creamy vanilla… Thus far noooo black pepper… Lips are getting tingly… Nicotine is creeping in… Body is mild, strength is medium… The finish is short, but leaves you suckling you tongue… Pairing with Woodford Reserve Straight Whiskey that really compliments the spice… So far, holding a solid 3 inches of a dime stack of ash, with a mascara thin burn line… Middle of 2nd 3rd has transitioned into a creamy and caramel draw… Construction thus far is perfect 👌… A very smooth smoke… If you love spice, this stick has it throughout… Definitely is a 90 rated cigar…
