Privada Storytelling
The Paul Stulac Miami Style cigar is more than a smoke — it’s a chapter in a life lived with passion, grit, and creativity. Two decades ago, Paul Stulac left Halifax, Nova Scotia for Miami, chasing his love of cigars and finding himself on Calle Ocho, the pulsing heart of the “new Havana.” Through that journey, he weathered shady characters, formed loyal friendships, and built a reputation that would carry him into the boutique cigar world.
His breakout moment came when White Blinding Light was featured by Robb Report, cementing his place as a name to know. Years later, Privada unearthed a rare batch of his cigars — perfectly aged and bursting with life — and the connection between Paul and Privada was born. Today, Paul remains a close friend and trusted partner, and the Miami Style release is both a tribute to his legacy and a celebration of his love for Miami Vice, as he and his friends prepare for the 40th-anniversary celebration in September.
Flavor Journey
The opening offers bold cedar and espresso, lifted by peppery spice. Midway, the smoke evolves into dark chocolate, citrus zest, and toasted almond, balancing richness with brightness. The final third deepens into a savory and slightly sweet close, with espresso and spice leading the finish in harmony.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada stands for friendship, artistry, and the stories behind the leaf. Miami Style represents all three: a personal connection between Brian Desind and Paul Stulac, a celebration of Miami’s vibrant culture, and an exclusive cigar available only to Privada members. This release honors a legend while making its own mark in Privada history.
