Privada Storytelling
Sobremesa is a Spanish word that refers to the lingering conversation and connection after a shared meal—and that’s exactly what this cigar captures. As Steve Saka’s first solo release after leaving Drew Estate, Sobremesa isn’t just a cigar. It’s a philosophy. A return to the craft of blending not for trend, but for meaning. In Privada, we celebrate cigars that hold space—where each puff feels like part of a greater moment. This is a cigar designed to accompany memory, music, or quiet ritual. It’s not a smoke break. It’s a continuation.
Flavor Journey
It begins with cocoa and roasted coffee on a backbone of sweet earth. The retrohale brings in cedar and a wave of pepper. As the burn progresses, cinnamon and dried fig emerge, followed by warm leather and clove. Mid-smoke, a creamy sweetness rises—like toasted marshmallow or spiced pastry. The final third adds complexity: woodsmoke, chocolate, pepper, and dried fruit all interlace with a slow, steady finish. Flavor transitions are deliberate and deeply satisfying.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because Sobremesa is more than a debut—it’s a declaration. Saka’s meticulous attention to leaf selection and fermentation shows in every inch of this cigar. For Privada, it represents what boutique cigars should aspire to be: nuanced, soulful, and unafraid to slow things down. This cigar reminds you to savor, to share, and to sit with the smoke. And that is the Privada way.
