The New World Puro Especial is a refined evolution of the acclaimed New World line—celebrating pure Nicaraguan craftsmanship. Blended by AJ Fernandez alongside his father Ismael, it pays tribute to Estelí’s finest farms (San José, La Soledad, La Providencia, San Diego). Aged meticulously for 3–5 years, this puro delivers rich character without excess strength. It’s a heritage-grown smoke for those who appreciate terroir, tradition, and accessible boutique quality.
First third: Opens with vibrant black pepper and earthy cocoa on the cold draw, followed by espresso and cedar. A light cinnamon-spice sweetness emerges, supported by creamy vanilla notes
Mid-smoke: Transitions into roasted nuts, floral-fruity highlights, nutmeg, and deepened leather. Earth and mineral elements add structure, while creaminess smooths the blend .
Final third: Carries forward espresso and oak-char harmonized with cocoa and lingering floral/mineral complexity. The finish is rich, slightly leathery, and satisfyingly medium-full in-bodied .
