Privada Storytelling
Edición Especial 2015 honors Reinier Lorenzo’s Cuban roots (Havana City = HVC) through the refined power of San Andrés Maduro and Nicaraguan terroir. Although named for its year of introduction, it is not limited-edition—but it was revitalized to celebrate HVC’s 10‑year anniversary, debuting a special box-pressed variant under the “Especiales” line. It's a cigar built for moments that demand presence and lineage.
Flavor Journey
The cigar opens with a bold medley of spicy leather and mocha, creating an immediate sense of richness and structure. As the smoke evolves, a wave of sweet vanilla and caramel threads into the core, brightened by pepper on the retrohale and rounded by a creamy café-con-leche character. The middle third transitions smoothly into deeper tones of dark cocoa and espresso, anchored by earthy richness and a steady leather foundation. In the final third, those leather notes remain dominant, joined by toasted walnut, molasses sweetness, and a touch of charred oak, culminating in a long, sophisticated finish with layered spice and maturity.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because it merges depth with direction. This cigar is medium-full, crafted with boutique care, then aged and evolved over time. Drawn from collaboration between Cuban heritage and Nicaraguan growth, it embodies Privada's mix of lineage and layered flavor . It’s not flash—it’s crafted finesse in Maduro form.
