What Makes These Beans So Special
We selected high-grown Guatemalan SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) coffee for its exceptional clarity, structure, and versatility. Grown at high altitudes in volcanic soil, these beans develop dense cellular structure and complex sugars that translate into vibrant acidity, rich sweetness, and a refined body. Their natural balance of nuttiness, citrus, and spice makes them the perfect canvas for pairing with premium cigars—whether you're enjoying bold Nicaraguan spice, rich Maduro depth, or creamy Connecticut nuance.
How We Roasted for the Perfect Pairing
Each coffee was roasted with a specific cigar in mind, using different roast levels—or in some cases, a blend of roast profiles—to match the cigar’s character and enhance your overall experience.

Habano Roast: Roasted to a medium-dark level (16:30–17:00 min) to bring out nutty, creamy, cinnamon, and subtle citrus notes that complement the red pepper, baked bread, and spice of a bold Nicaraguan Habano cigar.

Maduro Roast: A 50/50 split of medium and dark roast. This blend highlights lime and vanilla from the lighter roast and dark chocolate and smooth depth from the darker roast—mirroring the cigar’s mix of spice, sweetness, and richness.

Connecticut Roast: Roasted to a balanced medium (16:00–16:30 min) to deliver a smooth, creamy body with light cedar, soft spice, and mellow acidity—built for the creamy yet spicy intensity of a Connecticut Shade cigar, especially for morning pairing with or without cream and sugar.
