Privada Storytelling
Reviving an Estate in Nicaraguan Soil
La Hacienda resurrects a vintage Cuban marque, reborn through Aganorsa’s prime-aged Nicaraguan leaf and Kyle Gellis’s vision. Box-pressed into a Gran Robusto format, it’s a ceremonial tribute to old-world elegance with modern clarity—a journey from pistachio-soft entry through cedar maturation to a dark-fruited, earthy resolve.
Flavor Journey
First third: Citrus-laced pistachio and creamy almond unfold over soft cedar; a hint of bright white pepper teases the palate
Middle third: Leather and dark cherry deepen the flavor; espresso and nutmeg lend substance and warmth
Final third: Earthy leather and cedar anchor the blend; lingering crisp spices and cocoa-flecked finish complete the arc
Construction offers smooth draw and reliable smoke, though some batches have shown minor burn irregularities. Overall experience is silky and richly layered, with a lasting aroma finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
