Description
Christian Eiroa, the founder of Eiroa Cigars, was born and raised in Tobacco. Hailing from Honduras and born to Junto Eiroa founder of Camacho cigars, Christian was educated in the United States and currently lives in Miami. He is as American as you and me. Yet he is also Honduran. I say this because it comes out in his approach to cigars. CLE combines traditional methods with advanced technologies thanks to Bayer Scientific. Yes, the aspirin maker and technology company. CLE has been working with bayer for over 5 years to create the most sterile and clean tobacco farm and factory along with the most advanced scientific farming and fermenting methods. Couple this with the idea that Honduran Corojo tobacco is the original Cuban seed, Corojo. Cuba had to hybridize that seed, Honduras did not. So when you smoke a CLE, you are smoking the best of the past and present. And when you smoke an aged CLE, well boy, doesn’t that make you lucky! Now let’s backtrack to 2014. The wealthy heirs to the Eiroa fortune (they are RICH) are graduating high school in Miami. Crashing Ferraris and house partying around the MIA, these two cousins are living the life. You can even find their old Instagram account @youngtabacaleros This is the lancero, or as they refer to it, the Freshman. It’s one of my favorite Lanceros, which is saying a lot! It embodies the classic Honduran CLE tobaccos, mostly Cuban corojo, and delivers them in a 1-2 punch to the senses. These kids abandoned the project when they left to Spain for college, but we are lucky and blessed to have this cigar. Thank @clecigars for the hookup!

Nice mild stick. Nothing to go crazy about. Enjoyable.
