Privada Cigar Club sells tobacco products. Federal law (the Tobacco 21 Act, signed December 2019) prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21 anywhere in the United States. We strictly enforce this policy and will never knowingly sell to anyone under 21.

How we verify age

We verify age at multiple points in the purchase and delivery process:

At signup and checkout you must confirm you are 21 or older to create an account or place an order. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of our Terms of Service and may be a violation of state and federal law.

At order processing we may run an age verification check using a third-party service that matches the information you provide against public records. Orders that fail verification will be canceled and refunded.

At delivery an adult signature is required. The carrier will verify a government-issued photo ID confirming the recipient is 21 or older before releasing the package. Packages will not be left unattended. If no eligible adult is available to sign, the carrier will leave a notice and reattempt delivery.

If we are unable to verify your age at any stage, your order will be canceled and refunded. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason consistent with the law.

Shipping restrictions

Due to state, local, and federal laws governing the sale of tobacco products, we cannot ship to certain jurisdictions. Restricted states and territories are listed in our Shipping Policy. If you place an order to a restricted address, we will cancel the order and refund the charge.

No sales to minors

If you believe a minor has accessed our site or attempted to purchase from us, please contact us immediately at info@privadacigarclub.com and we will investigate. We take all reports seriously.

Health warnings

Cigars and tobacco products are intended for adult use only. Tobacco use is harmful to your health.

The following Surgeon General warnings apply to all cigars sold by Privada Cigar Club, in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's cigar warning rule:

WARNING: Cigar smoking can cause cancers of the mouth and throat, even if you do not inhale.

WARNING: Cigar smoking can cause lung cancer and heart disease.

WARNING: Cigars are not a safe alternative to cigarettes.

WARNING: Tobacco smoke increases the risk of lung cancer and heart disease, even in nonsmokers.

WARNING: Cigar use while pregnant can harm you and your baby.

WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. (Applies to products containing nicotine.)

Pregnancy

Tobacco products should not be used by pregnant women. Smoking during pregnancy can cause harm to the fetus, including low birth weight, preterm birth, and other serious health risks.

Responsible enjoyment
