Aganorsa Leaf Connecticut Robusto

(1 customer review)

5 1/4 x 50

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut

Underneath the Connecticut shade wrapper are Nicaraguan tobaccos from Aganorsa’s farm.  The result is a mild-medium bodied smoke with notes of cream, cedar, plum, and chocolate.

SMOKED: I missed the cold draw on this because I performed a pre-cut burn-in, but the first third draw started very mild with few notes of light cedar and leather. As the first third progressed, I started noticing what I can only describe as dried apricot and pear, maybe cereal, along with a more prominent cedar and now cream, with exhales culminating into a more pleasant vanilla-like oil. Lots of cream on second third with a really nice oily build up toward the end that accompanied scents of cedar, leather, cream, vanilla and more dried fruits – really more like dry cereal now. Difficulty staying lit through final third with multiple re-lights and mostly blew my palate out with inhale burns, but the flavors were still there. Not a huge fan of box presses, but I found this stick worth the price and overall a good smoke.
