This is a great looking cigar with a golden sandy coloured wrapper. The draw was a little tight.
On Light up I get a Finish of black pepper and cayenne on the retro, very unusual in a connecticut cigar.
The flavours are very woody with cedar notes being prominent.
The spiciness quickly goes away and a creamy note comes in adding to the woody flavour.
The ash held on to the band and I had to tap it off.
The 2nd third continues with cedar and a richer cream and an almond flavour has come through. The finish is very creamy with no spice remaining.
The final third is more of the same. The burn has been razor sharp all the way through and the draw opened up in the 2nd third.
A great cigar! If you like woody flavours and a creamy smoke buy one of these!
