Kintsugi is an elegant, multifaceted medium bodied cigar created by second generation cigar makers Alec and Bradley Rubin. Alec & Bradley Kintsugi pays homage to the ancient Japanese artform of joining together ceramics with gold lacquer-making them even more beautiful. Cigars, like the gold lacquer, are a bonding agent- bringing people from all walks of life together. This smoke contains notes of dried fruit, cinnamon, espresso bean, and hazelnut.
Alec Bradley Kintsugi Corona Gorda was ranked #25 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2021.

The 1st third starts out with a cinnamon note. A few minutes in and I pick up a leather and black tea flavour. The tea stays on the finish and lasts until the next draw.
The 2nd third drops the tea. The leather is joined by a roast coffee.
The final third sees the roast coffee joined by a burnt caramel flavour. The cigar has dropped the leather. The finish is bitter sweet.
A great priced cigar, the flavours were a little too bitter for my palate but overall I enjoyed the smoke.
