Description
Tasting Notes: Off the body I get sweet milk chocolate, charred cedar, and oiled leather. Off the foot is more milk chocolate, chipotle and black pepper. The cold draw is sweet hickory, black pepper, cedar, chestnuts, and salty earth. The first third starts off with warm, buttery popcorn, black pepper and light caramel sweetness. It kind of reminds me of a spicy kettle corn! A red chili spice starts to wash over the palate before long and lingers long on the finish. Also getting browned butter, roasted almonds, cashew, savory cedar, oak, and herbal tea. Retrohale gives me a great blend of caramel, cashew, white pepper, apricot, and cedar. The smoke texture is excellent with a creamy, nut butter mouth feel. Second third starts to bring out fruity notes of mandarin orange in sugar syrup, sweeter cedar, nut butters (almond and cashew, YES!) more herbal tea, hints of peach and apricot, with a retrohale of white pepper, citrus zest, hickory, and musty cedar. The finish is smooth, delicious and long. The last third begins with a sharp shift of minerality that then morphs into a blend of savory wood notes, almond extract, cocoa powder, aromatic tea, baking spices, charred sugar, and vanilla. Seriously, it felt like I had walked into a specialty tea shop in the final third of this cigar!
Pairing Notes: Caramel anything, dulce de leche, cafe con leche, light and sweet coffee, Teakeepers caramel tea, rice pudding with cinnamon, BBQ pulled pork, Thai food, red wine, cognac.

If your “go to” wrapper is SA and you haven’t smoked this gem yet, you’re missing out on a mind altering taste experience. This is one of the very best, if not the best SA wrapped sticks I’ve ever smoked. The boys agree!
Caliber rocked it with this one. 10/10 I already bought more.
