Introducing Privada Champagne Corona – a gem for discerning cigar enthusiasts. I’m thrilled to present this exclusive blend, the fruit of a two-year collaboration with a newly co-owned factory. This partnership allows our global Privada community to exert more control over cigar production. If future creations from La Fabrica de Helados factory, located near our Tabacalera Annex in Esteli, match even half this cigar’s quality, we’ve hit a triumph. This venture permits us to experiment with diverse tobaccos, primarily guided by my intuition. While I’m no professional blender, I relish the process of crafting innovative blends.

Occasionally, we craft an exceptional blend like this one. Continuous engagement with our club will enhance discernment between good and truly remarkable cigars. This, dear reader, belongs to the latter category. Despite the competitive market, I won’t unveil every detail about our Champagne Corona. However, know that the materials sourced come from top-tier, time-honoured farmers. It’s a privilege to share this outstanding creation with you. Though its ring gauge may seem small, perfection, as embodied by this cigar, requires no alteration.

Wrapper: Jalapa
Binder: Esteli
Fillers: Esteli and Condega

Body: Cocoa and dried stone fruit.
Foot: A trace of cocoa.
Cold Draw: Cocoa, creamy chocolate milk, and toasted nuts, coffee.

Tasting Notes: In the initial third, the Champagne series offers a unique mix of cedar and graham crackers, contrasted by a luscious layer of milk chocolate. This results in a sweet, tangy, and subtly spicy experience. The middle stage unveils a remarkable fusion of wood, nuts, spices, and a notable fruit twang. The retro-hale introduces an array of dried fruits and a slight red pepper note, all smoothed out by an undercurrent of cream and cedar. The final third transforms once more, with hints of brandy barrel oak, infused with notes of ginger spice, cinnamon, and red pepper. A backdrop of creamy smoke, dried fruits, and cedar underscores this blend, leading to a truly extravagant conclusion.”

Pairing Notes: Duck breast with a ginger glaze, cinnamon spiced lamb, creamy risotto, brandy, spicy rye whiskey, spanish rioja, banyuls, barrel-aged stout, smoked porter, spiced winter ale, gingerbread, crème brûlée, cinnamon rolls.
