Description
Body: Canned peaches, maplewood.
Foot: Peach and tobacco, golden raisin, slight iced tea, slight maplewood.
Cold Draw: Dried apricot and honey.
Tasting Notes: On the first third, I get hay, honey, almond, maplewood, earth, white pepper, and as with all truly aged cigars, a list of nuances you could possibly be reminded of but none strong enough to mention without really making you think I have lost my mind lol. For instance, I’m starting to be reminded of the peaches: canned peaches to be exact, that I found on a few of the body samples. Also some dried herbs, but faint. Rosemary, again very faint. And just a slight hint of tangerine. Maybe a little powdered sugar or even a frosting made with powdered sugar. The second third brings in more powdered sugar, cream, the hint of candied dried oranges, and dry maplewood. The smoke is dry and full of tannins, yet creamy in texture. You are left with an after effect of what cinnamon does to the mouth. The final third brings in vanilla, dry maplewood, and warm spices that make me think of a pie from the fall season. There’s also cream as well as a rich caramel. The end of the cigar leaves me with a musty mushroom.
Pairing Notes: Chocolate toffee covered almonds. Canned peaches. Powdered doughtnut. Funnel Cake. Cream Soda. Coffee, light and sweet. Champagne. Wheated bourbon. Red wine. Pancakes with maple syrup. Cream of mushroom soup. Caramel candies.

The 10 year age on this cigar is amazing. For those looking for the “old Privada” nostalgia this is your stick. Flavors were rich and distinct and present until the nub. I paired it with some champagne to celebrate the first warm Saturday of spring. Definitely grab a couple for your stash!

This is an incredibly smooth, mild and good flavored cigar. Must be the age. I absolutely loved this cigar. I plan to buy a few more in the not so distant future.

Nostalgia no doubt. This stick is a banger. Start to finish its rich and peppery. The bottom third really brings out the honey and apricot. Vanilla all the way through. Savored this thing with a good semi-sweet bourbon. Can’t wait to get a hold of more.

This is my perfect cigar, Deep rich fermented fruit balanced perfectly between decadent flavor and subtle strength, lightly stimulating retro. Perfect
