The Claudio Sgroi Privada Experience part 1 is unique in that its flavors are not common amongst other cigars. Claudio used a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper that really sets the tone for its dark and luscious flavors. This is a great inside look at what Claudio made on his last trip to the Dominican Republic.

1st Third
The first third is flush with roasted nuts, toasted sesame seed that reminds me of an overly toasted sesame bun, and sweet milk chocolate.
2nd Third
The second third sees the chocolate lose its sweetness, turning darker and much less sweet, charred cedar wood enters the palate, and dried herbs marry with it perfectly.
Final Third
The final third kicks off with burned bread, cinnamon, and prune.
Pairing Notes:
Cabernet Sauvignon, dark chocolate covered pretzel, rye bourbon or cognac, and triple chocolate cake or rum raisin ice cream.
