When creating the Charter Oak Pasquale cigar, Foundation Cigars owner and founder Nick Melillo paid tribute to his grandfather, Pasquale, who had a fondness for Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco. Pasquale played a pivotal role in nurturing Melillo’s passion for tobacco and cigars. This cigar also celebrates the opening of Foundation Cigars’ new office in 2023, situated in the Connecticut River Valley, home to the esteemed USA Connecticut Shade and USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco.
