Foundation’s Charter Oak features tobaccos grown in the Connecticut River Valley of Nick Melillo’s home state. The name pays respect to a historically significant tree near which Native Americans would congregate and grow tobacco of their own. Additionally, this cigar is used to honor Melillo’s grandfather who loved Connecticut tobaccos. The cigar also features Nicaraguan tobaccos. The smoke is creamy and medium-bodied and carries notes of milk chocolate, white pepper, and nuts.

I bought 2 of these. I am coming back for more. This cigar burned perfectly from start to finish. All the usual connecticut shade notes but this thing ramps up the strength bigtime in the second half. I had an IBC root beer after the strength kicked up. Pretty good pairing. I will try a sasparilla with the other stick.
Another amazing stick…and did you see the price?? Buy yours before I do!
