$9.25 – $324.00
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: San Andrés Mexican
Filler: Esteli Jalapa/Jamastran
Take an elegant blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco, wrap them in an intense Mexican San Andres leaf, and wrap that in an extremely dark and oily leaf of Connecticut Broadleaf: you end up with the powerhouse that is The Tabernacle. The bands showcase an image of Haile Selassie, the 225th Emperor of Abyssinia, or modern day Ethiopia. These gems produce copious amounts of thick, creamy, sticky smoke with dominant notes of dark chocolate and deep blueberry sweetness. Sprinkle in gentle tones of nuttiness and musty earth, and you have a decadent cigar on your hands.

I tried in local B&M and fell in love. I found it very complex and very consistent from first to last third. Chocolate, creamy, coffee bean, nutty somewhat…great burn, great smoke production, good draw. Have also tried the CT142 blend and the David/Goliath offerings…but the Robusto is my fav or them all in the original Connecticut Broadleaf.
