Made by infamous Dominican master blender Chico Rivas. This Toro is made with a hybrid Criollo wrapper over a Viso binder with fillers from Dominican Republic, Jalapa, Nicaragua and Peru. Expect a sweet umami cream with beautiful florals and black pepper retro.

The first third packs a punch on Light up. The retro is chilli and black pepper. The flavours mellow a few draws in. I’m still getting black pepper but the chilli has disappeared.the draw flavour is very earthy. I’m getting a chocolate note through the finish. The texture of the smoke is very buttery.
20 minutes in and the earth is accompanied by a charred wood through the draw.
The 2nd third is very smooth. I’m getting a cream flavour and I’m picking up a cured meat type of flavour through the draw. The finish has dropped the chocolate and is a generic earth.
The flavours pick up in the final third. I get black pepper, charred wood and earth.
