The Robaina family has been growing tobacco in Cuba since the 1800s. In fact, the late Alejandro Robaina was viewed as the most the premier grower who then passed on the family business to his grandson Hirochi. The younger Robaina is certainly living up to the family name and even expanding operations beyond Cuban borders. Hirochi took his vast knowledge of growing tobacco to Nicaragua, where he is creating top-shelf premium smokes that are as legendary as his family.
Hirochi Robaina Claro features an Ecuador Habano wrapper which encases a masterful blend of long-fillers, giving this cigar a balanced and intricate profile. This smoke contains creamy notes of cedar, peat, and coffee with a bit of spice on the finish.
