Description
The Hot Cake follows in the footsteps of HVC’s Pan Caliente line. Crafted by Aganorsa Leaf in Nicaragua, this cigar boasts a robust blend featuring a rugged Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper enveloping a Nicaraguan binder and filler. HVC Cigars, founded by Reineir Lorenzo, takes its name from Havana City, Lorenzo’s birthplace in Cuba. A medium-bodied smoke with notes of pepper, pancakes, sugarcane, earth, and just a hint of cedar.

Top notch stick. True to the description I get a heavy syrup almost mollases, with a earthy undertone. Not very sweet but consistent flavor throughout.
Excellent construction with an even burn line.
In the no.4 size it took almost 90min to smoke. Id call it a slow burn.
Definitely a must have in the humidor.
