Stanford Newman sought to create a robust complement to the wildly successful Diamond Crown line. To achieve this, he collaborated with two legendary cigar families, the Fuentes and Olivas. After years of partnership, J.C. Newman introduced a bold, full-flavored cigar for the company’s 110th anniversary: the J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Maximus, a creation that only these three cigar masterminds could produce.

Hand-rolled exclusively in the Dominican Republic by Carlito Fuente’s top master rollers, the Diamond Crown MAXIMUS features a secret blend of specially aged Dominican filler tobaccos. The wrapper is a unique Ecuadorian tobacco, cultivated solely in the El Bajo region of the Oliva’s Ecuador plantation. El Bajo, located in a pristine valley enriched by natural minerals and nutrients washed down by centuries of rain, provides the perfect environment for growing exceptional tobacco.

The Diamond Crown MAXIMUS offers a remarkably smooth, full-bodied flavor that is unparalleled. Only the richest, heartiest, and darkest tobacco from the top priming ‘corona’ of the plant is used. Due to the weight of this premium tobacco, Carlos Fuente can re-bulk and re-ferment it, enhancing its full flavor and dark color.
