Wrapper: Honduran Habano
Binder: Honduran
Filler: Nicaraguan/Honduran
Originally released as a 2017 TAA exclusive, the La Palina Bronze is now available to the masses, and this is worth celebrating. A Honduran Habano leaf secures a Honduran binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The smoke is medium-bodied, hearty, thick, and smooth. Lots of leather, and sweet earth. Minerals, root beer, chocolate, woods, thick cream, and subtle bakers spices and orange zest. Delightful and box worthy.

The 1st third gives you lots of dark chocolate that is accompanied by a saltiness on my lips. It’s tastes like a chocolate covered salty pretzel! I’m getting black pepper through the retro.
10 minutes in and a salty caramel joins the sweet flavours.
The 2nd third drops the pepper. I’m still getting chocolate and a hint of salted caramel. A licorice note has come into the mix. The finish leaves a slight cherry taste on the tongue.
The final third is quite consistent. Chocolate notes continued with a nice creamy smoke.
