Pre light: The 6×52 Toro had nice firm construction. Used V cutter. Draw reamined perfect throughout entire smoke.

1st third: Leaving the breakwater and immediately in rough & choppy seas! Lots of pepper and cedar. Some mild earthyness, and dare I say, a slight hint of baby powder???. After first 10% the pepper started to disapate slightly, and the baby powder went away, cedar stayed strong, and earthyness stayed around. Set the spinaker and had smooth mild sailing. At the end of the first third, ash had a pronounced bend.

2nd third: Had to jibe due to touch up with lighter needed shortly after ashing as once again burn became irregular. Smooth sailing still existed, and pepper began disapating. Cedar and earthyness are main tastes. 2nd ash had another pronounced bend.

Final third: As before, had to jibe once again as another touch up with lighter was needed. Pepper continued to disapate as well as the earthyness. Tried to ash early to get rid of need for touch up. Ash started to flake/dandruff. Even more smooth now all the way through the nub, but had to touch up with one last adjustment with lighter.

Overall, I would rate a 85 because of rough start and uneven burns. One might expect better at this price point.
