Description
Prepare to be captivated by the Oliva Serie V Melanio, an enticing blend featuring a stunning Ecuadorian-grown Sumatra leaf. This leaf, dark, thick, oily, and flawlessly smooth, sets the stage for a remarkable smoking experience. Beneath its luxurious exterior lies a flavorful fusion of long-leaf ligeros sourced from Nicaragua, including Oliva’s esteemed leaves from Condega and Esteli, complemented by additional tobaccos from Jalapa to enhance both flavor and aroma.
Each Oliva Serie V Melanio cigar boasts a full-bodied and full-flavored profile, showcasing distinctive nuances such as notes of black pepper, freshly-baked bread, and unsweetened cocoa. As you indulge, you may also detect hints of toast and lightly creamed coffee, adding to the complexity of flavors. Whichever flavors your palate discerns, rest assured you are in for a delectable treat crafted by one of Nicaragua’s most revered cigar-making families, if not the entire industry.

Lovely cigar. I found it very smooth, nutty and mild in spice. Very good stick for a evening with friends. Definitely the cigar you want in your collection.

The burn has a razor sharp white ash, looks great. The 1st third has black coffee notes with oak. I got black coffee on the finish. A cream creeps in and the 2nd third saw a milk chocolate come in as the coffee dies down. The final third surprised me as I get notes of mint which were very refreshing. The coffee comes back but not as strong, more of a roast coffee.
I smoked the robusto and have to say this was an incredible flavoursome cigar.
