This is a Honduran puro with notes of mocha and some wood. It also has a sweetness towards the end with a slight increase in pepper.

The first third opens up with a cinnamon spice accompanied with a cedar note. 10 minutes in and I’m picking up citrus notes along with the woody flavours. The wood note has shifted into a pine cone flavour.
I’ve picked up a sweetness coming through. It reminds me of a dusting of coconut when you’re baking.
The 2nd third sees the citrus notes becoming more dominant. I’ve still got the coconut dusting as there is a very pleasant sweetness.
The final third becomes peppery. I’m getting a white pepper and the cinnamon note has returned.
