Body: Black tea, cereal, hay, and herbs.
Foot: Black tea, dried fruits like plum.
Cold Draw: Dried Apricot.
Tasting Notes: The first third begins with sweet juicy stone fruits like plum and black pepper. I being to get notes of ginger, slight soy sauce, creamy smoke, simple syrup and slight orange bitters. I also get a nice cedar flavor as well. Wow.
In the second third the flavors mind. Simply syrup and plum become on. The black pepper is still there and so is the cream. The cedar is still present but it transitions to a touch of oregano. There are notes of milk chocolate and florals. This thing has it all.
In the final third, I wonder what more a cigar can offer? It begins with chocolate egg cream soda, plum, effervescent pepper, cream, salt, and sweet cedar. It’s sweet, creamy, and slightly spicy. Also juicy if you know what I mean!
Pairing Notes: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut M&Ms, Dried Apricot, Jack Daniels. Canadian Whiskey. Black Tea. Plum.
