Privada Storytelling
Every now and then, the best ideas begin as a joke.
The NOT Brian is exactly that.
Created as a tongue-in-cheek release for the Limited Cigar Association and Privada Cigar Club, the name may be playful, but the cigar is anything but. Behind the humor is a serious blend crafted entirely from AJ Fernandez-grown tobaccos and produced at Tabacalera Annex in Estelí.
Nothing was rushed.
After rolling, the cigars spent two full years aging before release, allowing the Corojo wrapper and Criollo binder to settle into a richer, more refined expression of classic Nicaraguan tobacco. The result is a cigar that delivers intensity without rough edges and complexity without sacrificing power.
This isn't a gimmick.
It's a deeply aged Nicaraguan puro disguised behind a smile.
Flavor Journey
The opening introduces cedar, cinnamon, and cream before quickly transitioning into rich espresso and cocoa. The Corojo wrapper provides natural sweetness while the Criollo binder adds structure and spice.
As the cigar develops, toasted nuts, leather, and dark earth begin to emerge, creating a profile that is bold yet remarkably smooth thanks to two years of aging.
The final third builds into baking spice and black pepper, finishing with a long, satisfying spice that lingers well after the final draw.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because it captures what Privada does best.
Take exceptional tobacco, give it the time it deserves, and wrap it in a story that makes people smile before they even light it. Behind the name is a genuinely outstanding aged Nicaraguan cigar that rewards smokers looking for depth, balance, and personality.
