Privada Storytelling
The story of Ramon by La Factoria De Digbanya begins with one man: Don Ramon Romeo Azul. A master blender and fermenter, his brilliance went unrecognized at one of Honduras’s largest factories. Fueled by equal parts ambition and retribution, Don Ramon struck out on his own, founding La Factoria de Digbanya in the thick jungles of Honduras.
There, he began experimenting with tobaccos traded across the Nicaraguan-Honduran border, re-fermenting each leaf until it achieved extraordinary depth. The result is Ramon — a cigar named in honor of Ramon Allones, carrying forward a legacy of defiance and creativity. It’s more than a cigar; it’s Don Ramon’s declaration that true tobacco artistry transcends borders, and that greatness comes not from the factory’s name but from the hands and heart of its maker.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with toasty cedar, cream, and tart cherry, punctuated by white toast, apricot, orange, and vanilla. A complex start that feels alive with vibrancy.
-
Second Third: Fruity cedar remains at the core, now joined by oak, cream, and subtle spice. Notes of white pepper and toast keep the profile sharp yet balanced.
-
Final Third: Deepens into caramelized nuts, rich espresso, and smooth dark chocolate. Cedar lingers with refined spice, leaving a sophisticated and memorable finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
