In the deepest reaches of the Amazon rainforest stands Tabacalera del Oriente, a factory and farm that is nearly mythical in its exclusivity. Owned by Gennaro Lettieri, this operation exists to supply a single client. Every leaf grown under Lettieri’s watchful eye is destined for one destination—and one destination only. Yet, in a rare twist of fate, he kept a small portion of his extraordinary tobacco for himself. That sacred stash, never sold and never shared, became the heart of The Volute.
To bring it to life, Lettieri entrusted Claudio Sgroi, one of the industry’s most respected artisans, to craft a cigar worthy of the leaf’s origin. The result is a limited run that whispers of the Amazon itself: humid earth, wild botanicals, and a richness that feels untouched by modern commerce. It is as though the rainforest has been pressed into a cigar, rolled carefully in secret, and released only to those fortunate enough to encounter it through Privada and the Limited Cigar Association.
