Native Americans were well known to be purveyors of tobacco and this feisty cigar pays tribute to this bold group of forefathers. This cigar comes from the Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Draped in a gorgeous, reddish-hued Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Wrapper and lavishly flavors its Cameroon binder and Nicaraguan filler with fiery cinnamon and white pepper against a cedar backdrop. This special cigar has been a labor of love by master blender A.J. Fernandez and his father Ismael with an amazing outcome displaying dual bands that set an ambiance of old-world Cuba from the get-go. Boasting an old-world sweetness and an energetic presence, this cigar certainly outclasses the everyday.

The 1st third opens with a spice bomb. It’s impossible to retro hale straight away without getting stuffed up! I’m getting black pepper with lots of cayenne spice. I also pick up a sweet cinnamon spice once the flavours have died down.
10 minutes in and the spice has finally died down and I’m getting coffee notes.
The 2nd third continues with the coffee notes and a vanilla has come in. I’m getting dried fruit on the finish. The strength picks up at the band point.
The final third is very smooth and creamy. The smoke is now very nutty.
